About Us

Pacha World, is a Fair Trade organization dedicated to working towards economic justice through educating consumers about the importance of purchasing Fair Trade products. We are increasing consumer awareness about corporate exploitation to end the use of sweatshops while building producer relationships worldwide to bring the public Fair Trade products to support people living under the poverty line.

Developing Conscious Consumerism Through Fair Trade Promotion

We are developing conscious consumerism through Fair Trade Promotion by providing the following services:

	Fair Trade Product sales – we foster Fair Trade relationships with artisans worldwide, educating the consumer about the high quality products these artisans create and selling them at home parties, online and during special events.
	Fair Trade Education – we present the issues about Fair Trade, the problems with NAFTA & CAFTA (Free Trade Agreements of the Americas) and Corporate Exploitation to educate friends, family, co-workers, employees and customers
	E-Newsletter – we produce a monthly e-newsletter to help keep the public updated on Issues focused on Fair Trade and the labor movement. Sign Up today!

Fair Trade Federation Member

Pacha World is a member of the Fair Trade Federation which means we are committed to working in a fair partnership with producers from all over the world. This means: the products we carry come from low-income artisans and farmers in the Third World who are paid fair prices for their goods. We purchase products from small-scale producers who are paid living wages and work in safe and healthy conditions. Many promote sustainable community development. We also work to educate consumers about the difficulties facing small-scale producers in the Third World and the importance of purchasing fairly traded products. This provides consumers with the choice to make purchases that directly contribute to improving living and working conditions overseas. As a Fair Trade Federation member we have a special commitment to creating a more socially and economically just global trading system. Our Name

Pacha means Universe and World. It is from the Quechua language which is spoken by the Quechuan people in the Andean region of Latin America. It is spoken today by approximately 13 million people in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Northern Chile, Argentina, and Southern Colombia. It was the official language of Tawantinsuyu, the Inca Empire.
